Commercial Agencies are regulated by Law No.36 of 1964 or the Regulation of Commercial Agencies. Law 36 provides that only Kuwaiti nationals may act as commercial agents in Kuwait. The relationship between the Kuwaiti agent and the foreign principal must be direct, and commercial agencies are not enforceable unless registered in the Commercial Register. We assist our clients by locating or providing detailed information on potential agents by negotiating and drafting the Commercial Agency or Franchising Agreements. Our Lawyers are expert drafting agreements and to advise their clients on Contractual Agency, the Distributorship Agency and the Commission Agency.
