Dr. Khaled Al-Yaqout Office for Legal Consultations and Law business is one of the offices specialized in corporate cases, banking and commercial cases and intellectual property cases in two decades, its management center is located in the State of Kuwait. It has many partners and cooperating offices around the world in addition to two branches in the Intellectual Property Department in the Arab Republic of Egypt And the United Arab Emirates.

Our office provides legal opinions on all commercial and non-commercial disputes in all local, regional, and international disputes through its specialized legal experts. Our office has been striving for excellence since its inception through finding solutions for complex cases unconventionally, especially banking, commercial, and intellectual property cases.

Our office believes in the particular specialization of all departments, as since its inception, it consisted of three divisions: the litigation division, the international division, and the intellectual property division.

As a result of consecutive successes in work, which has broadened the scope for the establishment of other divisions for the necessity of various conflicts of the exact nature of work sought continuously.

Thereafter, this prompted our office to establish an arbitration division, followed by a corporate incorporation division. Our office did not stop at this limit, but as a result of keeping pace with the current situations and events of the Corona epidemic that disrupted work in the courts in all neighboring countries and most of the world countries, our office searched for alternative solutions. Hence, our office established a branch from it for negotiation and mediation work to speed up the settlement of commercial disputes such as corporate, bank disputes, financial markets, and all investment disputes, including rental and labor non-commercial investments.

Our office is now composed of five departments:

1. Litigation division.
2. Arbitration division.
3. The Intellectual Property division.
4. International division.
5. corporate incorporation division.

The development of our office’s work has also attracted many clients from multinational entities and the consortium around the world. The number of our clients from international companies has exceeded one hundred companies in various fields such as the infrastructure, pharmaceutical, communications, automotive, technical, and food fields as well as our diverse clients that we are happy with and to whom we provide the permanent advice.

During this period and due to its exceptional nature, the office has established a center for mediation and negotiation to resolve both contractual and non-contractual disputes amicably away from the courtyards whose activities have ceased since 12/03/2020 and for more than five months, in addition to what the courts are exposed to, in regular times, from extreme work pressure led to very late completion of work and the issuance of rulings on cases, which led to the prolongation of litigation period.

Hence, our office rushed to establish a center for mediation and negotiation urgently to confront legal contractual and non-contractual disputes, especially those that arose from which after the new Corona epidemic, which disrupted the work of courts and resulted in a breach by many parties to various contracts of their contractual and non-contractual obligations as a result of the incident global economic downturn.

The Center’s work is based on solving friendly disputes away from the courtyards in a time not exceeding two months to make the parties feel ease and avoid pressure on the state’s courts, through mediation between the conflicting parties or negotiating one with the other.
